We have a strong competition record and winning tradition here at Brentwood BJJ. We regularly have competition team members on the winner's podium from local tournaments to the largest IBJJF competitions such as the Pan Jiu Jitsu Tournament.

Although competition is not required for learning and advancing in Jiu Jitsu, it can be a lot of fun. Everyone who has an interest in competition is encouraged to join the competition team.

At Brentwood BJJ we have members of the competition team from the ages of 16 to over 50 and all belt levels and our kids and teen competitors are becoming a force to be reckoned with.

Targeted training emphasizing conditioning, "rolling," and tournament strategy are provided for those preparing for an upcoming competition or are competing regularly.

We also regularly schedule Team Training with our affiliates at Jiu Jitsu Nation in Smyrna and Jackson BJJ. We are all part of the Luiz Palhares Competition Team and our Team Training allows us to share knowledge in a "training camp" style and promotes strong bonds between you and your fellow students and instructors.
